Late last night, The Savings Bank robbery suspect was arrested. Thomas
Bowler, 48, was charged with armed robbery, possession of a firearm
while committing a felony and stealing by confining or putting in fear‬.

Bank Robbery in Methuen!
The Savings Bank on Burnham Road Robbed at Gunpoint
On Saturday, April 22, 2017, the Methuen Police Department responded to an armed Bank Robbery at The
Savings Saving on Burnham Rd at approx. 11:22 am.
The suspect displayed a
handgun with a wood grip and black slide (possible semi-automatic).
The
suspect fled the bank with undermined amount of cash and was last seen
in the parking lot of Market Basket.
It is unknown if he had a vehicle.
Suspect is described as a white male, mustache (possibly fake) approx.
5'5", late 30's to mid 40's wearing jeans, black square rimmed glasses,
black shoes, dark colored hooded sweatshirt and a tan baseball hat.
