SATURDAY - NOVEMBER 19, 2016 - 1:00 P.M. SANTA PARADE: PUBLIC
SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT: PARADE/ROAD CLOSURES
PARADE ROUTE:
The parade will begin at the Pelham Street “Park & Ride”
proceeding east on Pelham Street, taking a left onto Lowell Street, right onto
Hampshire Street, straight across Broadway onto Charles Street, onto Pleasant
Street, taking a right onto Pleasant View Street, ending at Ranger Stadium.
ROAD CLOSURES:
PELHAM STREET: The parade starts promptly at 1:00 p.m. At approximately
11:15, on the Eastbound section of Pelham Street between Sunoco and Mystic
Street (Barker End) will be shut down to allow the floats and parade to set up.
East bound traffic @ Sunoco will be detoured Eastbound on Mystic Street.
RT. 28 - 12:00 P.M. -
Route 28 SOUTH will be closed at Rt. 213. All Southbound traffic will be
detoured onto Rt. 213 E and W. Rt. 28 NORTH will be closed at the intersection
of OSGOOD ST.
PLEASANT STREET & PLEASANT VIEW STREET - 12:30 PM. Pleasant Street westbound will be
closed at Medford Street. Pleasant View Street will be closed between Pleasant
Street & the Stadium. PLEASANT STREET EB will be closed between Charles
Street and Pleasant View Street.
ALL STREETS ARE EXPECTED TO REOPEN BY 3:00 P.M.
PELHAM STREET PARK & RIDE:
The park & ride on Pelham Street will be closed to all vehicles
starting Friday, 11/18/2016 at 10:00 PM. thru Saturday 11/19/2016 at 3:00 PM.
During this time, ALL VEHICLES MUST BE REMOVED.
