The
Methuen Police Department in conjunction with the Drug Enforcement
Administration will be holding a Prescription Drug Turn-In on Saturday,
April 27th, 2013 from 10am - 2pm. This event will be held at the
Methuen Police Station located at 90 Hampshire Street, Methuen, MA.
Residents can turn in all expired or unused prescription and over the
counter medication. Residents who have prescription medication for turn
in who are concerned about their personal information can leave their
information on the bottles because the medication will be incinerated
immediately following the event. This event is held so citizens can
properly dispose of medication. It is not recommended to throw the
medication in the trash or flush it down the toilet as this could make
its way into the water supply. Anyone with questions can call Sgt
