Methuen Mayor Stephen Zanni Issues a State of Emergency Declaration as
winter storm approaches. Mayor Zanni has issued a State
of Emergency for the City of Methuen beginning Friday Feb 8th at 12pm thru sunday the 10th
in anticipation of the winter storm and heavy winds that are moving in on
Friday. Heavy snow with damaging winds are expected beginning at 2:00 PM Friday
and extending thru Saturday.
The Mayor asks that all
non-essential emergency personnel remain off City streets and inside suitable
shelter. It is highly recommended that all NON-Emergency travel be avoided
until the high winds have subsided.
