Dispatcher Coordinates Gift for fallen Utah Highway Patrol Officer's Family

Stories like this warm our hearts, especially during this Holiday Season. Dispatcher Jeff Rubino received a call from his close friend Pennie Hale-Lacouture in regards to an article she had seen in PoliceOne magazine online. The article talks about the November 22nd passing of Utah Highway Patrol Trooper Eric Ellsworth and his 3 young sons who are having difficulty with their Dad's death. Son Bennett's best friend Logan is on a mission to bring happiness and healing to his friend and family by collecting as many patches as he can as a gift to Bennett and his two brothers.

Chief Solomon and the men and women of the Methuen Police Department are Proud to offer our gift to this collection.

Thank You dispatcher Rubino for coordinating this effort and bringing smiles to these boys at Christmas. And Thank You Pennie for your caring spirit.

The package has been mailed out! Merry Christmas to the Ellsworth Family and to you Logan. You are an Awesome Friend!
