Armed Robbery - 4/19/15 at Family Dollar 40 Jackson St. Methuen

On Sunday, April 19 2015 around 11:30 am, the Methuen Police
Department received a panic alarm at the Family Dollar (40 Jackson St.).  In route to the call, officers were informed
the store was robbed. A male subject entered the store and when attempting to
purchase a drink, the male pulled out a knife on the cashier.  The suspect reached over the counter and
reached into the cash drawer.  The male subject
then fled the store on foot and was last seen running onto Cornish St.
Extension.  The suspect was described as Hispanic,
approx. 25-30 yrs old, approx. 180lbs, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt.  The suspect has a beard/gotee and had tattoos
on his hands and his neck.
