On February 28, 2015 8:52 pm, officers responded to an armed
robbery at the Family Dollar store on Jackson St. One male suspect threatened
the cashier. When threatened, the cashier
immediately ran away from suspect. The
suspect attempted to open the register on his own but could not. When he was unsuccessful, he grabbed the
entire drawer and walked out into the parking lot. He was last seen walking into the parking lot
heading towards the old Metro PCS building.
