Unarmed Bank Robbery of Santander Bank
On 2-19-15 at approx. 1:40pm, the Methuen Police Department
received a report of an unarmed robbery of Santander Bank (125 Merrimack
St.). The suspect was described as a
white male, approx. 6 feet tall (medium build).
The suspect was wearing an orange or red winter hat, navy blue
sweatshirt with a grey sweatshirt underneath, a grey face mask, blue jeans,
white sneakers and blue winter gloves.
The male subject did not show a weapon and took an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspect left the bank and entered the passenger’s side of a gold
colored Nissan Maxima with a possible partial license plate of 76CW. The suspect vehicle was being driven by a
second white male subject. The vehicle
was last seen turning onto Merrimack St. heading towards Rt. 495.
