Commending an MPD Officer in 1922

Detective Delano found this gem among countless others in MPD archive files. It is a letter dated May 16, 1922 from a Methuen citizen, an "automobilist", who was stopped by "Officer #4" on a light issue. He sent this note to the selectmen to praise that he was "the most polite and considerate traffic man" he ever encountered and "a traffic officer is the best friend of an honest driver".
