The Methuen Veterans Day parade sponsored by the Methuen American Legion
Post 122 will be held this Sunday November 11th,
2012. The parade will start at 10 am at 200 Broadway (Rt.28) at the
Methuen American Legion. The parade will travel North on Broadway up to
Methuen square. The parade will turn left onto Hampshire St and
continue through the square and turn left onto Lowell St. It will pass
through five corners and proceed on Lowell St to Grove St. The
procession will turn left on Grove St and enter the Walnut Grove
cemetery. There will be a memorial ceremony including a 21 gun salute
to honor our veterans. After the ceremony the parade will exit the
cemetary and travel on Grove St towards Lowell St. The procession will
turn right onto Lowell St and proceed passed the senior center and turn
left onto Barker St. It will travel down Barker St and turn right onto
Pelham
Street and continue through five 5 corners and turn left onto Lowell
St. It will pass through the square on Hampshire St and turn right onto
Broadway. The parade will continue South on Broadway and it will end
at the American Legion.
